Willie previously resided in Chihuahua, Mexico, where he worked as a salesman for windows and doors. In 2000, he and his wife Helena and their family moved to America. Willie began working in Colorado where he farmed and did mechanic work, similar to his current role. 

In 2005, he joined VFF and has been an integral part of the team ever since. 

As VFF transitioned away from the cattle business, Willie adapted his role to become a versatile and skilled member of the team. He has honed his abilities as a plumber and carpenter, taking on various piping projects for the farm. Additionally, Willie is responsible for the maintenance of combines and ensuring all equipment is prepared for the harvest season. Willie is an exceptionally valuable team member as there really is not much he is incapable of doing on the farm.
