Parker is Brian and Paula Vulgamore’s firstborn and the oldest and first of the Vulgamore cousins to begin working on the farm. His earliest and fondest memories were riding on the sprayer with his dad, checking rain gauges with Grandpa Larry, and enjoying Grandma Judi’s famous cheeseburgers during late nights in the harvest fields.

Parker began working on the summer mowing crew through junior high and eventually became a primary equipment operator on a grain cart, combine, and planter during the summers in high school. Parker recently graduated from Kansas State University with a B.S. in agricultural economics and plans to continue his education at the graduate level. His focus will be on conducting research in political risk management and farm policy analysis. With a strong passion for advocacy, Parker aims to pursue a career in food and agricultural policy.
