A native of Towner, Colorado, Mark has been involved in agriculture his entire life. While growing up on a dry land farming operation in the 1970s and 80s, Mark witnessed the transformation from traditional to modern farming practices over the years. Following graduation from the University of Notre Dame with a business marketing degree, Mark ventured back to Western Kansas where he managed a John Deere dealership for more than 20 years. Mark joined the VFF team in 2014. Mark and his wife Jaime enjoy living in the Scott City community and cherish their evening walks at Palmer Park.
With Mark, VFF tapped into an aquifer of knowledge, talent, and management ability that has allowed Brian and Myles to focus on developing other key parts of the operation. Mark’s true strengths shine during the busiest periods, as he remains calm under pressure and can provide levity when it is most needed. He keeps all operations at VFF running smoothly on a daily basis. Mark is VFF’s quarterback and knows how to put everyone in a winning position. He is beloved by everyone on the team.
