Joel grew up and worked on his family farm in Chihuahua, Mexico, where he was born and raised. Throughout his life he has had a passion for farming, and has always been eager to expand his knowledge in the field. In 2016, he married his wife Bebekah, and they welcomed their daughter Oaklann in 2021. They lived in Belize for a year, which is where Rebekah is from, and then returned to the United States. Joel joined VFF in September 2022 to assist with harvest, but his great performance resulted in him being hired full-time. His primary responsibility is working at the Texas farm. Joel’s natural aptitude for learning has made him a great team player.
