Nick Wiebe

Equipment Operator
16 years

Originally from Chihuahua, Mexico, Nick later resided in Bolivia, where he actively farmed until the age of 21. He then returned to Mexico with his wife Katrina and began his career working in a cheese factory. Eventually, Nick made his way to the United States, bringing with him a wealth of farming experience, particularly in welding and fabrication.

He joined VFF in 2008 after being recruited by his younger brother, Abe Wiebe Sr. Nick’s responsibilities include fabrication, welding, ditch mowing, dirt work, and assisting in the farms’ conditioned manure business. Nick is not only dedicated to his work but also a family man, cherishing time spent with his five children, as well as his nieces and nephews. Among his colleagues at VFF, Nick’s dry sense of humor brings a smile to their faces.

WHY VFF:
“It’s rewarding to know that my efforts contribute to the health and productivity of the land.”
