Planting and Fertilizing, Partner

As a native of Scott City, farming has always been a family affair for Pat. He began working on the family farm as a teenager, and purchased his grandfather’s 40+-year silage cutting business from him in 1999. During silage harvest, Pat and his crew ran two cutters and performed custom cutting all the way from Texas back up to Kansas.

In 2005, Pat joined Vulgamore Family Farms, where his primary responsibilities include planting as well as fertilizer application and manure spreading as needed. Pat is also a partner in Dry Lake Farms and SWAG. For Pat, working with Vulgamore Family Farms has been an enriching experience, giving him extensive hands-on learning opportunities and the chance to work with a great crew.

When not running the fields in the cutter or planter, Pat loves the outdoors and spending time with his wife Brandy, and daughters Jade (born 1999) and Sidney (born 2012). He and his family enjoy trips to the mountains, fishing excursions, going to NASCAR races, and most of all, a nice cruise on his Yamaha Raider.
