Myles & Liz Vulgamore

Myles, the youngest of the Vulgamore children, joined the family farm full time in 2004 after graduating from Kansas State University (KSU) with a B.S. in agriculture technology management, as well as minors in both agronomy and agricultural economics. His wife, Liz, also graduated from KSU with a B.S. in business.

Myles’s calm and amiable character is a perfect complement to his brother Brian’s dynamic and creative personality, making the two an excellent leadership team. He is an invaluable asset to the farm with his exceptional mechanical ability to fix anything from farm equipment to computers. Myles’s responsibilities on the farm include the management of PASS, as well as supervising the maintenance of all equipment on the farm and managing the operation’s grain storage facility.

Liz grew up on a farm in Weskan, Kansas, a small community about an hour west of Scott City near the Kansas/Colorado border. As her parents are also involved in agriculture, Liz understands the hard work and time required for the operation to be successful and recognizes the necessity of supporting Myles’s role on the farm. They have two young sons - Breven (born in 2006) and Gavin (born in 2009).

Myles loves to spend time with his family, often taking his boys along in the passenger seat for seed deliveries and service calls. Like his older brother, Myles loves flying as well. Together, they integrate aviation into their daily farm operations, whether it be through crop scouting or long-distance travel to meetings and conferences. Liz also became a pilot in 2013 and can regularly be found taking to the skies over Scott City.
